Coming from Johannesburg / Harrismith on N3 take note of the Halfway Caltex Garage on the left at Van Reenen and continue on the N3 towards Ladysmith for 9 km and see our sign on brown boards. The entrance is directly opposite the Pyramids Motel (previously Andrews Motel), turn left on to the farm road and immediately left again and drive for 1, 8 km passing one house and stables on the left and continue to the end of the road which will bring you to the main house from where you will be directed to your individual cottage.

Coming from Durban / Ladysmith on either the N3 or R103 travel a further 15 km after the Tugela Toll Plaza and follow sign to Wyford directly opposite the Pyramids Motel (previously Andrews Motel) and continue as directed above.

• Van Reenen Village with one of the smallest churches in the world – The Llandaff Oratory – affectionately known as the Little Church - is worth a visit including the lovely tea garden next door as is the renowned Green Lantern pub to take you back in time.
• Ingula Nature Reserve - houses many threatened species, including the Critically Endangered White-winged Flufftail, and an extensive wetland of more than 1000 hectares.
• Windy Corner - Famous lookout point on Van Reenen's Pass 3 km from the town of van Reenen on the border of the Free State and Kwa Zulu Natal
• Spionkop Battlefield, Talana Battlefield; Fugitives' Drift; Rorke's Drift; Isandlwana Battlefield
• Sterkfontein dam; Golden Gate National Park; Basotho Cultural Village; Clarens; Witisieshoek Mountain Resort and Sentinel
• Day trips to Northern Drakensberg resorts such as Royal Natal National Park; Giants Castle; Cathedral Peal, Champagne valley are within driving distance along scenic roads.
